easy + delicious + down home = cracker pralines

This recipe just might be Southern cracker perfection:

Easy Praline Bars

24 graham cracker squares
1/2 cup packed lt. brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

1. Heat oven to 350°

2. Arrange graham cracker squares in single layer in ungreased jelly roll pan.

3. Heat brown sugar and butter to boiling. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.

4. Pour sugar mixture over crackers; spread evenly. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake 8-10 minutes or until bubbly; cool slightly.

5. Devour at your will.

6. Or bring to a holiday party & share with friends.
