We've had a series of really beautiful evenings here lately; the weather is still rather cool for this part of the world and it seems we're outside until dark, chatting about our days. We were joined by this young bird one evening and we'd have never known if it weren't for Dean, Chief of Security. We put Dean inside so our little friend could practice night flying.

SO glad you posted about this! i didn't even see the bird in the pic on flickr. your lights are so lovely, i'm crushing on them so hardcore.
