mmm let's eat

I've got Spain on the brain and the tummy. To satisfy, I've checked out 1080 Recipes from the library - the authority on traditional Spanish cooking ("unpretentious, healthy, simple and delicious”). The illustrations by Javier Mariscal are delightful -- the book's website is definitely worth a peek.

For our Spanish Thanksgiving a few years ago I checked out a Spanish cookbook from my branch in your county. It had the most delicious recipe for cherry tomatoes stuffed with a shrimp salad. I highly recommend seeking out that book, too. I wish I know which it was. We're doing Russian Thanksgiving down there this year. Maybe I can find the Spanish one when I go looking for a Russian cookbook?

Hot home cooking sounds good right about now. Especially since it's cold up here in North Fla, are you guys getting any of this cold air down there?
