In August 2002, a co-worker of mine came to work wearing skinny, skinny jeans and - pan south - pointy-toe flats. Many other co-workers thought she looked a bit ridiculous, but I thought she looked darling. It was then, three years ago, that I fell hard for pointy-toe flats. Some five years previous, I bought my first pair of flats altogether (round-toe), and it became a thing with me: nothing is sexier than a lady in flats. Heels - I do wear and I do like - and yes, they're sexy, of course! But I much prefer the flat - it is timeless-sexy.

Finding the perfect pair of pointy-toe flats is a chore - they are everywhere, but most of the time, they're not quite right. I have been on the look out for another pair of black flats and I believe I may have found them at Boden USA. Granted, the point is chopped off the black pair in this inspirational photo, but you get the idea. A steal at $128! And hello leopard print - so not Madge, usually, but I'm really digging them.
