I thought maybe there'd be brown naked trees and lots of rain in Portland...turns out, I was crazy. On one drive, every last piece of Autumn was illuminated by the sunshine, and I think I swore in the moment that Thanksgiving is the holiday to be in Portland. Steve, next year: Come with? Can we arrange a pet sitter this far in advance?

Korea is lots of naked trees and rain, just generally overcast. It's gross. The cruel thing is when it isn't overcast it is so much colder. I can't win.
