almost never daily: dreams for July

First of all, I had this crazy fantasy that I would blog every day in July.

So obviously that didn't happen! But here's what did...George got real sick last week and is finally on the mend. He had an upper respiratory infection that was slow in settling in and then, happy to stay. We were supposed to be in Montana this week but the trip has been postponed to the next federal holiday weekend, Labor Day.

My book discussion for My Antonia went really well; in fact, surprisingly well. I loved the book myself and enjoyed facilitating the talk - there was a lot to talk about y'all. I was so concerned we'd get off topic, but we didn't. You never know. So, another book jacket:

My summer reading has been pathetic to say the least. In fact, I haven't done that great this year. Urgh! But I'm on a high now, so hopefully it will carry me to dozens of books.

We're watching Big Love, Season 4. We watched the entire series of Battlestar Galactica recently (omgomgomg).

I had never heard the Adele song, Rolling in the Deep, until yesterday. If you want to live under a pop culture rock you should probably have a baby. If it is happening now I won't get to it for a couple of years.
