Hope everyone had a lovely + safe Happy New Year. We kept it local (the front porch). A tremendous load of fireworks in all directions - more than July 4th, I think. There was sparkling wine. A troop of curious pets. A pleasant evening.
So far, I have no resolutions. I am going to keep the list short - maybe I'll keep it to 3. Okay, I do have one resolution: I'd like to read 24 books. Two per month. Last year (like it was so long ago), I read 18 books.
I have two more resolutions to make...I'll think about it extra hard and get back to you.

not bad! two books a month is doable. though perhaps, not for me. eek. i can be slow, far too slow.

I am such a slow reader. Slow, but steady, just like the sloth.
