I was set to think this was the right time to blog every single day for a month! Set. There'd be no interference. But at both the beginning of November and then the end, I won't be here! And when I'm not "here" I tend to disconnect. Phone is ignored. E-mail is ignored. Most anything requiring electricity (hairdryer included) is ignored. It makes this all the more challenging...
But who said I don't like a good challenge? (My brain is knocking on my head: it is saying give me a break because you really don't.)
Halloween was today (it still feels like it was today but technically it was yesterday) and it was fun. I have one of those belly aches - the kind that smells like a bagful of Halloween candy. Because I ate about 2,000 miniature Snickers. I don't even know what my costume was; it was a blonde wig, fake blonde lashes, a black dress and turquoise tights. And everybody kept asking me, "Who are you?" I wasn't expecting that. Can't you just dress up for Halloween?
I'm letting out a big secret. D. Sergei's "D." stands for Dooley, which is what his name really is.
I added the Sergei to help keep him anonymous (he asked) but also because he speaks with a Russian accent. And lately, I call him Dooley ghanoush.
Ok, that's a big enough secret for tonight.

I used to have a cat named Toonces cause she looked like the cat who could drive a car. But my brother and I couldn't help but call her Bop Bulla Bulla.
i would love to try this whole, write every day thing, but it seems so difficult!! good lord.
dooley is such a gentleman, as you say. such good posture.
I've been meaning to ask about D. Sergei's name.
I thought it might be a title or something very Russian. But Dooley fits nicely.
This is so exciting you AND Corley doing nablopomo. How will I ever keep up reading them?
Kyle and I call the dogs every name under the sun. We watched Dune. So of course we are on a Usul/Chani kick. Then we changed it to Struesle and Chachi. Sluggs is Struelse and Grubb is Chaci.
