- i am barefoot a lot. i like to be barefoot, but i can feel everything under foot - gritty dust, grains of sand, hair, etc. and this makes me curl my feet in disgust so that i'm only really touching the ground with 30% of both feet at any given time. i do a lot of tiptoes.
- instead of songs, sometimes i have a word stuck in my head for days at a time. the last one i can think of was Econoline as in the Ford Econoline vans. that's the maker, Ford, right?
- i met someone last week that told me i looked like a melissa.
- my best friend in first and second grade was a melissa.
- i left parochial school in the middle of third grade, went public. stayed public through graduate school.
- i cannot multi-task very well.
- i did americorps for two years; it paid for 95% of grad school.
- i got my first traffic ticket last week. i ran a red light. bad! shame!

I concur with your first random fact.
Lots of walking around as if on eggshells for me too.
Love the Mannyhattan map on your banner! My favorite island in the world!
I am barefoot a lot too. I like to wear as little on my feet as possible. I'll wear almost non-exsistant flip flops to work and the walk around the office barefoot. Everyone thinks this is very gross. I think it is gross-er when I am at home barefoo and I spill dish detergent on the floor and then step on it. Eeww!
My neighbor said I could use his internet for free. I just have to keep reminding him to set up the wireless. Soon, my dear Madge, soon!
That is a huge ticket. I'm constantly running red lights. I thought that was why there was that space before the other light turns green. So people like me can burn through them, right?
1) I garden barefoot. I love the feeling of soil between my toes.
2) There is a Nancy Griffiths song called "Ford Econoline." You could have both the word and the song stuck in your head.
3) You did Americorps. Now I love you even more.
