- I have just started (a few months back) reading a crafty blog that takes place in my hometown and learned today that its author is quietly exiting the blogosphere (well, not exactly). Sometimes I wonder what my exit will be like or if there ever will be one...
- I start my job in about a week and a half and I'm sure my posting will temporarily subside as my jittery self works through the new adjustment. Alas, I'm excited for the change.
- Speaking of libraries, Kate the Great sent me a heads up re: yesterday's Talk of the Nation. Listen! Or if you're more of a reader, the op-ed piece from the LA Times is here; the last sentence gave me the shivers. Thank you Kate.
- On Friday night, Steve and I perused a photography auction. It was very fancy. And when I say fancy, I mean Palm Beachy. We made friends with the caterers.
- My mom's birthday was today (4/3). Not a blog reader of mine, but Happy Birthday regardless!
