Although you can't see it here, Jane has a cowlick! I'll try to capture it for next week.
And then there were other things...
I've been spending a lot of time out in the yard. In the late afternoons, I just grab a sheet and fall asleep by the lake because it has been so wonderfully breezy and not so humid. I wake up with very stiff shoulders and whatnot, but the rest is priceless. I fall asleep to a good book and when I wake up it usually has bird poop on it. So far I have escaped.
We've painted our kitchen and surrounding areas a color called Bubble. It is a minty white green, but I think it looks like a minty white blue. Major upgrade! We sort of left things hanging after the rush of the big move died down but we're finally to a place where the house is kind of done inside.
...Except for the back sunroom (or Florida room as they're called here) - and I have this great idea, thanks to yesterday's Anthropologie Home catalog, of what we can sort of do out there:

...Give it some plant life, like a mock-conservatory (but I think I'll get some different looking tables). Which brings me to a question.
If you've ever played a lot of Clue, what was your favorite room on the board? Weapon? Character? And then the least favorites?

JaaaaaaaAne! (I always think of the BNL song)
Better bird poop on your books than monkey poop. Take it from me.
Anthropologie is the prettiest catalogue.
Is it wrong that I want to lick your cat?
Because I do. Oh, god, how I do.
Also, it was totally Col. Mustard in the Study with the lead pipe.
And Mrs. White can go fuck herself in the Ballroom with the candlestick.
Ms. Scarlett is my fave, no favorite room or weapon.
I have the Simpsons edition, my favorite is Lisa with the plutonium rod, no fave room.
Dislikes:
Mrs White/Smithers with the wrench/extend-o-glove.
I second Tits choice of characters and rooms, but the weapon was definitley a candlestick.
Ms. Scarlett was a hussy who deserved to die. Preferably by hanging in the conservatory.
I gave Jane a shout out on my blog today.
I never played Clue. I was a boring kid.
Tits wants to lick your cat? HA!
JANE!!
Hey, what camera do you have? Mine sucks big time and I've decided it's time for a new one. Your camera always seems to take great pictures.
I was always a fan of the candle stick. I'm not sure why.
Those tables don't look too bad. Everything looks great. Especially Jane.
your naps sound looovely (bird poop and all).
and i too likee the candlestick :)
oh, sunshiney kitteny wonderfulness!
not a fan of Clue, never was. Remember the game called "careers"?
Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory, with the knife!
Julie
I have old game boards, including Clue (4 total), that I hung in our "game room"...they are really neat...maybe I will take a picture and put on my blog this weekend!
