it landed on a scanner, ix

I'm almost in the tens, folks.

Do you realize?

So let's talk about this week's scanner.

Clockwise from top left:
  • Steve's juried student exhibition show was tonight (technically last night). Guest juror was...
  • I tore this little itty bitty slice of Jacquetta Wheeler from a W - I think. I just loved her necklace made of fresh red roses. I wouldn't mind having one of my own.
  • Daisy from the yard!
  • Black spool of thread: to symbolize my death at the sewing machine and then hopefully my rebirth. WTF. I just want to start sewing again.
  • Clothespin (I admit, I'm getting out of order): Laundry week! Eeee. Good to be done and starting over fresh.
  • Hello, Queen Elizabeth II! I still haven't seen your movie in which you are portrayed by the fabulous Helen Mirren, but it's in MY plans. Until that beautiful day, I'll drink my tea from your silver jubilee (1952-1977) mug. Did you just wink at me?
  • SG gave me pushpins. Any they came packaged in this cute box that I am just loving.
  • My little sister (who probably doesn't read this blog) is turning 21 on March 29 - I made her this card with these little posters because the date matches her big day and the posters are a little bitching, I'm not going to lie about that. John Ralston with Modern Skirts WHO ARE YOU? Your website is cute. I am intrigued.
