We were almost completely moved out of our old house - the house where Steve's truck was stolen. We just had to make one last run to pick up his tools and some miscellaneous things...we were waiting for the weekend.
But now we don't have to worry about moving things this weekend.
The house was burglarized two nights ago and all of his tool$ were stolen.
And the little stereo in the kitchen.
And two jars of change we used to dump our change into - for a camping trip this winter.
My heart is sick over how much hate I am feeling. And it could have been worse - undoubtedly. We could still be living there - and we don't.
Ugh.

oh madge, i'm so glad you're out of there. how horrific! it's definitely a bad sign to be burgled so many times and a good one that you're leaving that negative karma house!

if it were possible, i'd split my coin jar with you... but it's kind of across the country. :)
your hate is understandable, and justified. i'm glad you and your boyo are out of there.
just think of the terrazzo, and that this sort of thing won't hopefully happen again in the new home.

you've got to be kidding...hit twice? I hope your insurance company comes through for you. Michael and I were so sad for the loss of the cameras. Being burglarized is so disheartening. Yes, it's 'victimless' in the sense no one lost an arm, or something. But there is very much a sense of being vulnerable and powerless. I'm so sad for you.
