I don't know these people, but I was going through my Photoshop Elements and decided I need to start posting some outtakes from my 2006 adventures. This was taken somewhere in Maine. I am attempting to make Roman shades. I haven't started, but I think I can do it. For me, self-doubt is half my problem (I am miserable at figuring out widths and lengths, and how! I am illnumerate).
Tonight's thrifting adventures turned up a mint-condition brown wool sweater, made in France! (+ good for camping), and a couple of T-shirts for lounging - the well-worn one that says Arlington Table Tennis Club is my new favorite.
Tonight it's so pleasant outside that the windows will stay open. A nice breeze is coming off the lake which, it just so happens, is not man-made. Steve reminded me I forgot to mention that.
I am a little obsessed with tribal libraries. A little = a lot.
I saw this combination of foods on a platter at the grocery store this afternoon: apples, grapes, sharp cheddar cheese and caramel dip. So I ran around the store and gathered said foods to make my own platter. It was yummy! Good for the season, too.

oh man, good cheese... i may have to run out to a store here and get some.
i simply can't imagine why, but the "cheese" that gets served in the food hall here just doesn't cut it :p

What a lovely Maine beach. I can't tell where it is either.
You can do it! (Make Roman shades, I mean.) I love apples with caramel dip. Mmmm....
Meghan, go for the cheese!
