  • In case you need to refinish your hardwood floors, call me! I know how to do it! (I can also add it next to terrazzo on my flooring resumé). It's hard work - so when you do it, make sure you schedule yourself a nice, relaxing pedicure toward the end of the whole ordeal - you will need one. And make sure you do it at an Aveda spa, because during the process you will be served delicious tea and you will listen to heavenly new age music that will make you forget just how disgusting your feet are - so tip generously, because they'll be removing a lot of dead skin. A lot.
  • I saw The Departed on Friday night. I have two points to make about this movie. The first is, go see it. The second is, I have had mixed feelings about Leonardo DiCaprio for awhile. I think when he was in Romeo + Juliet, I wanted to marry him. And then after that, he became sickly looking (although it was during this phase that he was boning Giselle Bündchen!) and I questioned his talent. Let's face it - not every Tiger Beat pin-up has a shot at career longevity. So, for those reasons and others, I lost interest in him. I did not see him in Gangs of New York or The Aviator (even though I sort of worshiped Martin Scorsese at one time and should have seen those movies). But on Friday night, I was reintroduced to "Leo." And I have to say, I was unexpectedly impressed with him, which was a surprise. Go see the movie! It's a good one to see in October. And as always, Mark Wahlberg brings it. I heart him so. Is he not the best?
  • This story has been creeping me out and giving me the willies.
  • Jane rules the world - she loves to snuggle backside to backside.
  • Oooof! I am tired!

Is The Departed scary? I can't do scary, but I want to see it because a friend of mine works for the production company that made it.

I liked him in Catch Me If You Can.

Yay pedicures! I need to start getting them regularly so I can feel like a professional.

Meghan, I think you should go out and see The Departed.

Le Petit, I must catch Infernal Affairs. Must.

Kate, The Departed is not scary. It's a good time.

Kimberlina, Nooooo! You must like Matt Damon! I like him. I hate Ben Affleck (I think you probably do too).

For the love fo all that's holy, woman, go see Gangs of New York right now!!! I fucking heart heart heart that movie. Daniel Day Lewis (who often annoys me) tears up that fucking movie into itty-bitty shreds. Leo's good, too.

ALso, I heart all things Aveda, and pedicures, and snuggling kitty rumps, and Madge, most of all.

i don't want to see the departed, but Michael does, and now I have your word that is worthy of my money. so, okay. maybe i'll see it.

i tell you, from the brief time i was in Florida, I know one thing: the mafia is thick on the ground there. but at first, i thought the story was going to be about Steve's truck.

i will need your services in three months. please bring 'how-to' books and your strong, able body.

i will give you a pedicure myself.
