sunday night, good night

  • So my older sister works for the airline industry. The perks include these types of conversations: "So, Madge, what do you think about lunch in San Francisco this Tuesday?" Tomorrow morning I'm getting my San Fran pedicure. Woohoo! I haven't been there in ten years...I cannot wait.
  • I saw a girl that I went to high school with at the local coffee grind on Friday morning. It was horrifying, as I hadn't seen her in nine+ years (and she never particularly liked me during my CHS days to boot). She pretended she didn't know me - the story of my life. What do you say to those bitches anyhow? "Oh yeah, Riley? Well, the jerk store called. They're running out of you!"
  • I've watched V for Vendetta twice over - holy crap - what a great flick! Natalie Portman's British accent is a little crappy, but that is all - everything else is so f'ing good! You must go rent/check it out.
  • Have you played twenty-thousand games of Yahtzee recently, with your old ma? Huh? I have! If you too have played twenty-thousand games of Yahtzee recently, with your old ma, let's talk strategy.
  • My last semester of grad school starts in approximately one week.
  • My last few days have been a mixture of margaritas on the rocks, gimlets, wine and champagne.
  • I miss my boys. So. Bad.
  • So I tried blog surfing this evening - in an effort to catch up with what I've been missing. Holy Shiznit. Dial-up is painful. I am thinking of you and you and you. I just can't read about you.
  • My younger sister and I have a thing for Leeland, Dog the Bounty Hunter's son. It was like the best dual confession I've made in a long time.
  • Can someone fill me in on Kate Hudson and Chris...er...the guy from the Black Crowes, please?

I love that you play Yahtzee with your old ma. How so very cool are you?

That chick is a bitch. Just like Amy Campbell. Fuck 'em both I say!

1) I can't believe you have to go back to school so soon! But then it's over!

2) I want a pedicure in San Francisco.

3) I had a dream last night that you, Kimberlina, and I were in a scavenger hunt together, and we had to go to this totally kitchy motel in Miami to get one of the things on the list. Things might have gotten interesting from there, but the kid woke me up.

V for Vendetta is amazing. Can you believe I watched it 3 times in 24hrs? I can't...

I saw V for Vendetta opening night, and bought it the day it came out on DVD. I've seem it three times since. I love it.

I also love that you drink Gimlets, 'cause I thought maybe I was the only one.

Oh - and vodka gimlets or gin gimlets? I can always go for a gin gimlet.

ok, for those of us who're underage and only familiar with the "gimlet" that's used like an auger.... what is this drink you speak of?

Meghan: in my house, a gimlet is vodka and Rose's lime juice, with fresh limes as a garnish. Good indeedy.

SG: Fuck 'em! I don't like when the universe recycles no-good people. Ewww.

Tits! I know. School stinks and I'll be happy when I'm done. And when that happens, we'll take that dreamy trip to Miami you speak of...

Allegro! Yes. I saw it twice in 24 hours - I just loved it. My younger sister said I would have a crush on V; it's true! I do!

Corley! A partner in gimlet crime, oh yes. It is a strange story, the story of how I came to drink gimlets in the first place. Someday you'll hear all about it.

Tits - I know you're a gin fiend. One night during my youth, I puked so much gin out of my nose that I was like Bombay on tap - people held their cups under me. I just can't do it again - so the gimlets are Vodka. Mmmm.

How crazy am I to be madly in love with V?

I have to settle for Hugo Weaving, Agent Smith and King of Wispy-earred elves.

hmm.... i think i like vodka better than gin... but they're both better than rum. that shit makes me gag.

but it doesn't come out of my nose, so all is well :)
