the daily dots
- I had a delicious dinner at the Rhythm Cafe with dear friends this evening. I followed my "plate of yummy stuff" with two cups of coffee. No wonder I'm still w-i-d-e awake.
- I thought about doing a book meme today, but came up short and uninspired. Instead of including the entire meme, I thought I would share a portion - my three favorite reading beverages: 1) Earl Grey with milk 2) wine 3) hot chocolate.
- Random memory generator: In the 4th grade, we had to interview the faculty and staff at Woodstock Elementary School for an assignment. We were to do an interview and then draw their portrait. The finished assignments would hang up in the hallway. Pa-ressure. It was my job to interview Bob the janitor. Everyone was jealous of me because we all loved Bob more than the teachers. When I went to find Bob to arrange an interview, he said he didn't want to do the interview. He said something about "the union." I didn't understand what this meant. "Are you joking with me?" I wondered out loud. He was not joking. I ran back to my teacher. I was crying and I was nervous. The next day, I interviewed the principal. During the interview, the principal made me feel important. He took me seriously, even though I asked him stupid questions. I was pleased with that, so I made his portrait extra nice. To be honest, I drew his eyes way too close together.

Tits, you're most welcome.
Kimberlina...there are so many museums in Chicago. We almost took a detour to Chicago on our roadtrip to MT, but it was just too far out of the way...
I want to hear your childhood stories!
Meghan, keep on giggling for the greater good.
